DAVID ADELSTEIN joined the firm as a partner in 1994. He has represented labor unions and trust funds continuously since 1982. He continues to specialize in representing labor unions and jointly managed trust funds.
Mr. Adelstein is the former Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the California Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He is a chapter editor of the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section's treatise "The Developing Labor Law" and is a former member of the City of Torrance Civil Service Commission. He serves as an officer of the Orange County Industrial Relations Research Association. He frequently lectures on topics of labor law and for many years has served as an adjunct instructor at Los Angeles Trade Technical College's Labor Center.
Mr. Adelstein is also active in his community, having served as the co-founder and first President of the Torrance Education Foundation, Secretary of the South Pasadena Educational Association, President of the South Pasadena High School Booster Club, and Chair of the South Pasadena Unified School District Program Review Committee. He has been a coach of numerous Little League and AYSO teams, is a rated AYSO soccer referee and is a Boy Scout wilderness backpacking leader. |
