DAVID E. AHDOOT joined the firm in September 2007. Loyola Law School awarded Mr. Ahdoot the prestigious Dean's Scholarship Award in recognition of academic excellence. Mr. Ahdoot also was a member of the highly competitive Scott Moot Court Honors Board, where he honed his abilities and skills.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ahdoot was involved in an active civil litigation practice focusing on Construction Defect and Plaintiff's Defense litigation, where he gained hands-on experience in all aspects of civil litigation.
At the firm, Mr. Ahdoot represents the interests of labor unions and trust funds. Specifically, Mr. Ahdoot assists our clients in a variety of dispute resolution contexts, including both state and federal litigation, as well as appellate review.
Mr. Ahdoot is also involved in litigation on behalf of the trust funds in ensuring accurate reporting of residuals and fringe benefit contributions, in addition to other obligations due under the collective bargaining agreements. This litigation encompasses the cutting-edge issue of piercing through evasive employment models and advertising agreements utilized by employers to avoid the payment obligations required by the collective bargaining agreements.
